#225

I finished my 225th novel today. I don't post much about writing anymore, but it seemed like that was a worthy enough milestone to mention. And tomorrow morning I'll start #226.

I'm working on my sixth. Won't be long now before I catch up to you.

I've done three, sold two. If I lived another 500 years and you quit working today, I still wouldn't catch you.

Congrats, James. Even fire can't slow you down.

Fine accomplishment. Though I haven't read all that many of the 225(who has), there's a quality that shines through in the ones that have crossed my desk.

Not long ago I wrote on my blog that I'd gotten to the end of my latest book and another one was coming out of the printers. They were like my 26th and 27th book. Someone (I think Patti Abbott) asked in a comment: "Don't you ever rest?" Now, that question should be directed at you, James!

I read more than a hundred books a year, watch fifty or sixty movies, and watch 'way more TV than I should. (I'd hate to tell you how many series I watch every week.) So I get plenty of rest.
